My mother in law, i've been married to my husband for about 13 yrs. She will sound like a complete airhead and say things to hurt my feelings while playing dumb then say she didn't know what i was talking about. It has literally made me physically sick over the years. I dream of leaving.

Good news is, I recorded the whole interaction on audio. #evidence EVen hearing it, makes it appear like you are the "crazy" one, if you don't know the context and how its all played out, like a Broadway show. It can be so subtle too.
